2つの命題が両方真または両方偽のときに真となる論理演算 $ P \iff Q
「A if and only if B」
訳: Bのとき、そのときに限りAが成り立つ
【論理学】 条件 B のとき、そのときに限り A が成り立つ。数学、論理学で必要十分条件に用いる。
例: f(x) = f(y) if and only if x = y.
x = y ならばf(x) = f(y)が成り立つ。x = y 以外では成り立たない。
Bならば、Aが成り立つ。B以外では成り立たない。
