Arbitrum
Arbitrum is a L2 project that utilizes Optimistic Rollup, which is one of the implementations of Rollup technology. It shares the same technology as Optimism. It is known to be one of the most widely used networks in the L2 space. One of the key advantages of Arbitrum is that it implements the EVM, allowing for easy migration of applications from L1 to L2. As a result, popular protocols such as Uniswap and Maker DAO have already integrated with Arbitrum, and Compound is planning to follow suit. It is important to note that Arbitrum differs from Side Chains like BCS and Polygon. While Side Chains operate as separate chains from the main L1 network, Arbitrum exists as a L2 solution.
