Optimism is an important concept in the context of Sequencer. The OP is contributing the proceeds from the Sequencer to the public good. This contribution helps to offset the costs of computational resources and supports the distribution of grants and prevention of fraudulent activities through the use of tokens. The design of the token allows for various use cases, and it eliminates the need for unproductive competition in subsidy APY.
