goldfinch
Goldfinch is a protocol that addresses the issue of defaults in unsecured loan offerings. It aims to provide a solution by using real-world assets as collateral. On the other hand, TrueFi is a protocol that also utilizes real-world assets as collateral but establishes legal contracts off-chain. Meanwhile, Maple is a protocol that aims to mitigate losses for lenders in a pool before defaults occur by providing compensation for the amount of default. What I find crucial is not just catering to institutional investors but also exploring opportunities in microfinance. However, I feel that there is still a missing piece in the scheme, like a holy grail that hasn't been discovered yet (I've been saying this for a while).
