Gift
In the context of Media Art rooms on Clubhouse, I sometimes realize that there are things that were not meant to be pursued as a business, but rather as a vision to address the issue of social inequality. It's a simple realization, but it makes me think. There is a concept called Top of top, which ultimately leads to the idea of "breaking through there." I imagine that if there are universal topics (such as mathematics, computer science, and behavioral economics), it would create a common context among different people. In that sense, it feels like It's really fun to spend time with friends or lovers who can respect each other even though the topics are different. Gift. I believe that projecting the "alternative timeline that the other self wanted to obtain" onto others can sometimes lead to unhealthy consumption. However, when viewed as a "gift," I think it can become a healthy act. Preventing parents from imposing their unfulfilled desires on their children, or projecting those desires onto romantic partners or friends, is a philosophy and a way of thinking.
On the other hand, there are many troublesome aspects to gift-giving. For example, it can be very troublesome and have the potential to corrupt people. As the author himself refers to the relationship between Kishida Hideo and his mother, there may be aspects of the So-called "toxic parents" problem distilled in the negative aspects of gift-giving. It is more desirable to have an attitude that grasps the ambivalence of gift-giving.
Gift-giving and altruism become mirrors that reflect the "self." Behaviors that appear altruistic but are actually selfish, or exchanges disguised as gifts ("It's for your sake, you know?"), can become curses. That's why, when a sense of altruism arises within oneself, it is necessary to strategically add cuteness, humor, and freshness.
When you think about it, strategic cuteness, humor, and freshness are contradictory descriptions. When they have a scent of strategy, they become calculated, cold, and unpleasant. Only after diligent training can cuteness, humor, and freshness truly manifest. That's why these three are descriptions of a person's "way of life" itself.
