My best guess is Blender is one of many tools that AIs can use to help people create things without needing to learn blender. Most likely they want some stuff added to the python api that makes it easier for the AI to automate things and possibly want some stuff originally implemented with python to be moved into core c code so it can be faster so their AI can generate and render blend files a million times faster so they can automate the creation of a dataset for future AI training.
In no way does such a request harm or even affect in any way the humans using blender. If anything it might make blender faster and make the lives of python addon developers easier.

Who is “we” even? It always sounds like you are talking for all “professionals” or whatever the post is about.
I have seen many statements and opinions online. People against AI, people who are more neutral, people highly in favor of AI and I am sure there are many more.
