American actor Tom Hanks left the United States because of Donald Trump's victory in the last presidential election. He told about this in his letter to fans, which is quoted by The Direct.

The artist noted that he made the decision after seeing the results of the elections, for which he was "not ready." "I thought: "Run, Forrest, run!" And that's exactly what I did," he shared.

Hanks said that he is now in a "distant, unknown place" with a beautiful view of "something that is definitely not America." He did not specify whether he would return to the States, but made it clear that this could happen at the end of the Trump presidency.
