Get cookies.txt

WARNING! As of yesterday (version 1.5), this extension has started sending details of all the sites you visit back to the developer to the site "ck.getcookiestxt.com". In particular, for every page you visit, it sends:
* The page address,
* A unique ID for your browser,
* Your browser's user-agent string (which shows what OS you're using and the browser version number),
* Your language setting,
* The platform you're on,
* The current date/time and your current timezone.
It did not do this before yesterday.

Hello Sophie, thanks for using the extension.
The extension has been updated to Manifest V3 in the latest update. I am in the process of adding the ability to get cookies from web requests (from HTTP headers) using an API I made for this.
This is an intermediate release, it is set up to add the result to the <table> page element once returned.
Changes still in progress with request header, it’s not perfect yet. Making many changes to update to new version, make this extension more featureful, and future-proof it.
Any issues will be fixed in the upcoming release.

UPDATE: at the suggestion of another user, I will add a button to disable this feature in the future, as well. Hadn't thought of that before, but definitely a good idea.
May take a while for me to finish all the updates, thank you for your patience.

Hi Rahul,
Thanks for the explanation. I'm very unclear as to how an API will help you to let the user get their cookies - the whole point of cookies is that they're only sent to the site that created them. I will admit that there might be some method by which you can get some cookie *names* that way and then use that information, but even if this were possible it would not show *all* cookies.
Plus, even if this were the case, please explain how the unique browser installation ID and platform name would help you obtain this information. I remain unconvinced that this would be useful for anything other than analytics.
Thank you!
