With all classes online in response to the novel coronavirus infectious disease, we will be using kibaco much more than usual. We are taking measures for such rapid expansion of kibaco usage, but we also assume that the load on the server of kibaco will be larger than expected.
In order to disperse the load on kibaco as much as possible, please cooperate as follows.
Since the server was expanded in the first semester, the test questionnaire function (including attendance confirmation) and assignment submission function will be available during class hours from the second semester.
In principle, there are no restrictions on use during class hours to avoid concentration of access to kibaco, but please refrain from using it as an excessive load.
(1)
The URL for joining the Zoom meeting will be posted using the "Announcements" feature of kibaco. At that time, be sure to set Email notification to "Yes".
Students can attend classes at Zoom without logging in to kibaco.
(2)
Please contact students and distribute class materials by 17:00 the day before class.
We ask students to check the lesson materials by the day before class.
(3)
With kibaco, you can upload files using the "Resources" function, but in order to reduce the load on the server, keep the file size as small as possible.
When publishing large files, please use a cloud storage other than kibaco and publish only the link (URL) to the file.
For videos and audio files, please use cloud storage such as YouTube.
(4)
Please promptly log out when you are not using kibaco, including during class.
All of these are important points for reducing the load on the server of kibaco, so we would appreciate your cooperation.
