Credits
Creating an algorithm to determine how much value has been added to the entire project.
Determining the allocation of credits based on two types of observations: observing the work and observing the final profit.
The person who receives the credit can build a node graph, such as who supported them.
The more edges they have, the more Cred flows. So how does the algorithm determine how much value a person's work has in the overall picture of the project? It sounds a bit dystopian, doesn't it? This algorithm uses something called "weight." This is a set of rules that show how much each type of contribution is worth in Cred. The weight for distributing Cred is determined individually by each community, giving them the opportunity to decide what they value and what actions support that value, and work together to create something. All communities using SourceCred can decide for themselves what is valuable and worth Cred and what is not.
Parameters can be determined to some extent within the DAO.
Cred is "non-transferable" and cannot be sold or bought. It simply represents where value was created within the project.
Instead, there is something called Grain that has currency. It can be obtained based on the amount of Cred. Well, you can use it however you like.
