There are 17 goals in the SDGs

The item "Economic Growth" corresponds to SDG8, but it is only one of the 17 goals.
The will of Central America and Costa Rica not to prioritize "capitalist economic growth" led by the World Bank and the IMF must be respected.
SDG16 "Peace" and SDG13,14,15 "Environmental Conservation", etc.
In other words, by aiming to achieve the SDGs, a framework for steering towards degrowth becomes possible.
The theory of neoclassical economics has not been subject to many criticisms based on mathematical robustness.
However, the "externalities" that have been invisibilized as a result may be revealed by the SDGs initiative.
