BlockScience® is a company specializing in engineering, research and development, and analysis of complex systems. We integrate academic research with advanced mathematical and computational engineering to provide design and analysis services to a variety of clients, including for-profit, non-profit, academic, and government agencies.
The BlockScience team specializes in data science and computational methods for designing socio-technical economic systems, particularly addressing algorithmic design problems involving complex human behavior. Our work includes pre-launch design and evaluation of economic business and ecosystem models based on simulation and analysis. We also provide post-launch monitoring and maintenance through reports, analysis, and decision support software. Our team continues to develop, educate, and apply best practices in economic systems engineering as an application hybrid of artificial intelligence and computational social science.
BlockScience is defining and practicing a new field called economic systems engineering. We apply mathematical engineering techniques to traditional systems engineering methods. We integrate game theory and behavioral economics to contribute to the creation of healthy and sustainable ecosystems.

The BlockScience team has built and open-sourced cadCAD(complex adaptive dynamics Computer-Aided Design), a python-based modeling framework for researching, validating, and computer-aided design of complex systems. This allows for simulation, testing, and verification of ideas before implementation, whether it be iterative development of new business models, designing automatic smart contract logic on the blockchain, or developing a digital twin. cadCAD.:'Complex Adaptive Dynamics Computer Aided Design' is a Python-based integrated modeling framework for probabilistic dynamical systems and differential games that can model systems of all levels of abstraction, from agent-based modeling (ABM) to system dynamics (SD), and seamlessly integrate the workflows of computational social science simulations and empirical data science.
