Hi! Just thought I'd drop a little note to say (say) Hi to the future. That's really essentially what I'm doing. The last person that checked out this book did so on May 10, 1939 and it just sat on the shelf for 38 years before I came along and borrowed it on Dec. 23, 1977. Such a shame for such good material just sit there untouched all those years. Who knows maybe it won't be checked out again till the year 2,000!

I'm 15, a sophomore, and I have to have a standard oratory for Speech and Drama to take to contest. Tomorrow I recite it. I've been working on memorizing it for 2 weeks, it's twelve pages long! Oh, by the way, I'm a girl and the speech is "Women's Right Suffrage" by Susan B. Anthony. I'm going (to) copy some others to share with classmates. Well, tonight's the last night to put finishing touches on it so I better get to work. Wish me luck! Good-bye Future! Love,
