Today is the Boys' Festival (a traditional holiday in Japan).
It's also known as Children's Day.
Koi-nobori (carp streamers). Kashiwa-mochi (rice cake wrapped in an oak leaf). Shobu-yu (Iris bath).
Did you eat Kashiwa-mochi?
I took a bath of herbs with iris root.
The whole house was filled with the good smell of medicinal herbs.
Relax and slowly. It was very warm.
