アリック・チェンは、イギリスのZaha Hadid Foundationのディレクターです。

それ以前は、ロッテルダムにあるNieuwe Instituut：オランダの国立美術館兼建築・デザイン・デジタル文化研究所の所長兼アーティスティック・ディレクター、上海の同済大学デザイン・イノベーション学部の教授兼キュラトリアル・ラボ創設ディレクター、マイアミビーチとバーゼルで開催されるデザイン・マイアミ・フェアのキュラトリアル・ディレクター、北京デザインウィークのクリエイティブ・ディレクター、香港のM+でデザインと建築のリード・キュレーターを務め、その新しい美術館のデザイン、建築のコレクションとプログラムの形成を監督しました。彼は「Zoöp：デザイナー、エコロジスト、哲学者、アーティスト、企業家、弁護士らとともに、人間社会における人間以外の生物の地位を向上させる方法を模索し、すべての生命が役割を果たすことができる協力の形を開発する団体」の共同設立者です。

Aric Chen is a director of the Zaha Hadid Foundation. Chen previously served as a General and Artistic Director of the Nieuwe Instituut, the Netherlands’ national museum and institute for architecture, design and digital culture, in Rotterdam, Professor and founding Director of the Curatorial Lab at the College of Design & Innovation at Tongji University in Shanghai; Curatorial Director of the Design Miami fairs in Miami Beach and Basel; Creative Director of Beijing Design Week; and Lead Curator for Design and Architecture at M+, Hong Kong, where he oversaw the formation of that new museum’s design and architecture collection and program. He is a Co-Founder of Zoöp, together with designers, ecologists, philosophers, artists, entrepreneurs and lawyers, have searched for a way to improve the position of non-human life within human societies. They have developed a form of cooperation in which all life has a part to play.
