Built in 1923, this is one of the best examples of Sento (public bath) in Kyoto. The architecture inside and out is full of incredible details. It's like stepping into a time machine.

This is a great place to stop on your way to or from Ryoanji You can rent towels and buy soap but be sure to bring a fresh change of clothes.
