We briefly did run YC remotely during covid, but since 2022 it has been back in person. We've found that YC works much better in person.

米国法人を作る必要がある?

ただ、実態としてはEUや韓国、シンガポール以外のSEAで登記したままの企業も多くY CombinatorのDemo Dayには参加していました。実際に、DGDVはその中で韓国の企業に投資を実行していますが、彼らはY Combinatorからの投資を受けるに当たって米国法人を作るかどうか検討した結果、結局韓国法人のままでY Combnatorの参加投資家から出資を受け入れることを選択しました。つまり彼らは、有力投資家との接点を作るためにY Combinatorを活用したということです。
