Associate Professor in the Department of Frontier Media Science, School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, Meiji University. His primary research interests are in Human-Computer Interaction and Interaction Design.
He earned his Ph.D. in Media and Governance from the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University in 2009, Prior to that, he received his Master's degree in Media and Governance in 2006 and his Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies in 2004, both from Keio University.
His research interests include the development of interface designs that leverage perception and physicality, as well as interaction techniques predicated on internet connectivity. Among his recent publications is "Fusion Design (Tokeru Design): New Architectural Theory in the Era of Hardware, Software, and the Internet" (BNN Shinsha, 2015).
