How to import a JSON rBook into Roam
JSON vs EDN
You can import a JSON file to an existing graph. EDN will overwrite a graph.
If you import another JSON in the future with identical blocks as a previously imported one (eg, an update of the rBook) all blocks from the old JSON must be deleted for the new import to work.
With JSON, diagrams that use {{diagram}} will lose their spatial ordering (eg, in Appendix 1 in the Professional Project Management with Roam v1.0)
For Professional Project Management with Roam v1.0, there will be some minor block references that are not included in the JSON file.
Steps
(This guide was made on August 2021. The user interface may be different if you are reading this far into the future.)
Unzip the rBook JSON
Go to RoamResearch.com and Sign-in/Sign-up

Under the three dot menu, select Import Files

After import, a report like the one below will be shown in today's Daily Notes. A good place to start is the Prologue.
