Link
Cosense links work the same as usual links on the web but have some unique points.
How to add internal links
Add brackets around any text, like this: [FAQ] FAQ or use hashtags like this: #FAQ #FAQ
Internal link text is always the same as the page title they refer to.
You can auto-complete links after you start typing by pressing tab and then enter or clicking one of the suggested pages.
What makes links different on Cosense?
Link once, browse many related pages
Say you're on page A and then you add a link to page B. When you visit page B you'll see a link to page A in the footer despite never actually adding a return link by yourself.
This is known as a Bi-directional link and the return link is sometimes called a backlink
Together with these backlinks, Related pages up to two link steps away are also automatically shown in the footer. AKA 2-hop link
Add links to new pages before they're created
Here is an example: new link. When you are ready to add content at the new link, just click it and it will take you to a blank page where you can start typing. This is great when you want to stay on one page but note related ideas to expand on later.
All link instances update when their corresponding page title changes
If you are on the [FAQ] page and change the title to [FAQ / Help] then all instances of that link on other pages will update to reflect the change as well.
How to add external links
Paste or type the link with https:// and it will become clickable. For example, https://cosen.se/product is ready to click as it is.
