Sketchbook

During EU-JP Animation Residency, every artists except for me were bringing tiny sketchbooks and drew something anywhere, like during watching performing arts. That was so impressing for me as people around me are more like geeky and they regularly use smartphones or laptops to take notes.

when I talked it to Laura Gonçalves, she kindly gifted me my first pocketable sketchbook, and she and other artists recommended to use bold pencil (like 4B), as well as giving me an advice to draw just for fun, regardless how it looks professional or not.

but honestly I used to have sketchbook during my art college to take notes, but it was quite large to put on my pocket.
