I've never seen such a cool interpretation before. He doesn't just do one-to-one translation, but also explains the context behind domain-specific concepts and even asks critical questions from a standpoint of being a poet.

kindly sent me some texts on how the way of seeing that Walter J. Ong suggested in his well-known book "Orality and Literacy", has guradually denied in the field of linguistics.

In short, the way of seeing cultures in orality-literacy binary is getting regarded as a bit too rigid

The mental model of literacy that he used to mention is now considered more rooted in “schooling”, rather than just learning written language.
