Demo
Introduction
Let's role-play. I am the teacher. You are the students. We are in the same class using teacher's accounts.
You will experience the flow of an interactive class, where materials are distributed and responses are collected.
In this demo lesson, you will make use of LoiLo Note's main features.
Screen Share
Can you see my screen on your device?
Teachers can share their screens with students.
Any actions taken by the teacher, such as writing, zooming, or changing pages, will be reflected in real-time on students' screens.
Flash Card
I will conduct a math lesson called "Count the dots." The time limit is half a second.
How many dots could you see? Okay how about this time?
Since it's most likely difficult to count them with just our eyes, let's try grouping them by drawing groups with the pen.
Send
I have just sent you the Dots Card.
Did the card pop up on your screen?
If you cannot find it, tap the SEND button and pick out the Card from the Timeline. You can always find and grab cards sent by teachers or other students from the timeline.
Please tap the Card, circle and group the dots with a pen, type your equation, and submit it.
Submit
Once you have completed your answer, please press the back arrow button and drag and drop the card onto the SUBMIT button.
Create a Submission box
Teachers can create a destination for submitted Cards or homework. Multiple submission boxes can be created by a teacher.
I have created a Dot submission box. Please submit your work there if you haven't already.
Teachers can conduct lessons using submitted student answers.
Share Answer
Once you've submitted, let's check if all the submitted materials are ready.
Please press the SUBMIT button.
Since all of you are logged in with a teacher account, you can see everyone's answers, right?
Students can only see their own answers.
However, there are of course situations where you want students to learn from each other's answers.
In such cases, you can use the Share Answer feature. This is a distinctive feature unique to LoiLoNote, which is not found in other apps.
By tapping the Share Answer button, you can share the answers of the entire class.
Each student can individually view the answers and learn as a whole class.
Anonymous
Additionally, making the respondents anonymous is available when needed.
Compare
To guide students through the teacher's intended lesson flow, you can use the comparison feature.
Choose the Cards you want to compare and press Start Comparing; the cards will expand to fill the screen.
You can select, discard, and rearrange the cards using the Edit button.
You can also use the laser pen tool to draw attention to specific areas.
Also, you can freely write on any cards by tapping them.
Ask To Present
You can use the presentation feature to have students give presentations while remaining in their seats.
Let's try explaining how you grouped your dots.
Feedback
Let's provide feedback on the other students' answers.
Go back from the comparison screen and touch the answer in the submission box, then use the pen tool to write your feedback.
Please write your feedback simultaneously.
In this way, multiple teachers can provide feedback at the same time.
Edit Card and Presentation
Let's try to create even more new ideas. You will learn about how to edit cards and create presentation slides.
Timeline
To create new ideas, retrieve the Dots card I sent earlier.
Tap the SEND button and drag & drop the card from the Timeline to your Note screen.
Duplicate
You can duplicate a card by pressing and holding it for a few moments then tapping Duplicate. Duplicate the Card now.
Link the Cards
Create a new response and connect it with the yellow arrow in the upper right corner.
By connecting the Cards, you can create a presentation.
Tap a Card to zoom in, then swipe left or right to show the previous or following slides.
You can show the cards in the order they are connected by the yellow arrows.
You can also play the presentation with the play button in the bottom left corner.
The default playback time for one Card is 5 seconds. You can change the playback time for each slide using the recording button.
Submission History
Here is how to make a submission and see the submission history.
Please submit the presentation by drag and dropping it onto the SUBMIT button.
Please look at your response in the submission box. You can see the submission history. You can view the history of resubmissions by tapping on the Submission Box icon in the upper right corner.
Test Card
The GAME MODE function of Test Cards is an effective way for checking students' understanding and motivating them at the beginning of a class. Let's have fun with the Game Mode.
Test Cards are effective for checking students' understanding.
Test Cards have several ways to answer. One of which is called "Game Mode"
To check today's level of understanding, I would like to conduct a test using the Game Mode.
Case Video
Now let's review the flow of an interactive lesson. Please watch this video about hybrid utilization.
Students write their answers on paper in their notebooks.
Then, they take a picture and submit it.
All students' answers can be instantly collected by the teacher.
When students share their answers, everyone can learn from each other's notebooks.
To guide the students along the teacher's lesson plan, the teacher uses the comparison feature to select multiple answers and conduct discussion activities.
I hope you now understand one way to use LoiLoNote to keep students focused.
Business Model
We offer student user accounts for sale.
Teachers can access LoiLo Note for free.
For students, the annual cost is $15 USD per student.
How about becoming a full-featured pilot school for the first year? There are no penalties if you choose not to renew after a year.
