All teachers are expected to be at their classroom doors each morning from 8:00 until the 8:10 bell, at the change of class times and at the end of the day for 5 minutes following the dismissal bell. Teachers may be assigned specific areas of the school with designated times for duty as determined by the principal within the contract periods.

The Sign In/Out Sheet for the regular school day is located in the Main Office Area. The teacher workday includes a 30 minute, duty free, on-campus lunch. A teacher may leave campus during lunch provided the teacher signs out/in on the provided booklet. If an emergency occurs and a teacher must leave campus during a planning period or at any other time, permission must be granted by the principal or designee. CLASSROOM COVERAGE
If an emergency occurs and a teacher must leave campus due to an emergency, the teacher must notify the principal and/or designee immediately so that class coverage can be arranged. Under no circumstance should a teacher leave a class unattended. It is important to note that emergency situations do arise where substitutes are not available and teachers may be asked to cover classes. Teacher cooperation is requested.
