2020 Hurricane Season
September 14, 2020
The level of activity at this point has been unprecedented - this is the 2nd time on record that there have been more than 5 tropical cyclones in the basin - the last time was in September 1971. However, in September 1971, the storms were named "E" through "I" - this year, we're at "P" through "T" - it's overall been a record-setting year for hurricanes.
