受動態を使うシーン

受動態は、byが存在しないような文だけで使用するべきである

◯：The teacher told me to hand in this paper by Tuseday.

×：I was told to hand in this paper by Tuseday by the teacher.

主語が不特定の人々の場合、受動態を用いたほうが良い

「日本では〜はあまり良い作法とは思われない」

→It is considered C/It is not believed C
