数字 + out of + 数字 + 名詞 + V

One in + 数字 + 複数形 + Vも可能

「10人のうち4人の生徒が」

→four out of ten students

→four in ten students

everyを追加してfour out of every ten studentsにすると、「（たくさん学生がいるが、その）10人につき4人が」という意味になる

イギリス英語ではpercentはper centと分けて書く。

どちらにしろpercentは複数形になることに注意

「20~30%の人々」はtwenty to thirty percent of peopleと書く
