The day started early morning, with all the stakeholders arriving for the activity. The kids' timing has improved, and most attend the activities on time. Early morning provides a conducive environment for practicing before the scorching sun appears. The instructors also attend the activities on time; hence, the practice sessions commence early in the morning to give the kids enough time to interact with their teachers and learn.

The dance team practiced from outside without their instructor this weekend as he wasn't feeling great and had to visit the hospital for check-ups and medication. Despite his absence, the elder kids took charge of the group and conducted the practice session effectively. The morning session was vigorous and intense, with the kids taking advantage of the calm weather to do the most.

The recital team is lucky enough to practice from the classroom and hence is not affected by the sunshine or changes in weather. The team is now used to their new teacher and is picking up pace with new rap songs and poems introduced. Their numbers have stagnated, but their attendance is more consistent, which is effective for group learning as the instructor doesn't have to reteach things to students who skip sessions.
Teacher Janet continues to do a tremendous job with the little kids by engaging them in games throughout the day to give time to their older siblings to practice efficiently. The games and songs she teaches the kids aim to improve their learning skills and development. Since the program commenced, the kids have now interacted with each other more respectfully, and some have even improved their interpersonal relationships and interactions.

The morning session came to a break at around 1100hrs to allow the kids to partake in the porridge prepared by the cook. All the kids drank to their fill and had ten minutes to relax before resuming practice. The second session of the day was relatively slow for the dancers, given the solar insolation outside on the terrace where they practice. The other groups continued their regular practice entirely uninterrupted by the weather.
As it was a full day of activity, the kids had a second break to take lunch. We switched the menu on this day and prepared rice, beans, and cabbage instead of the usual rice and green grams. The kids warmly appreciated the new diet and urged the cook to switch diets during lunch on alternate full-day weekends to kill the monotony of one dish on every full-day Saturday.

● 今後の望ましい対応/Recommendation
With the shed construction only weeks away, the kids, especially the dance team, are eager to start practicing under the shed and away from the scorching sunlight. We would appreciate it if the team from Japan moved in and installed the roof on the school. The kids' attendance is still monitored every weekend, and the onboarding of new students is ongoing.
