1. 子どもたちと一緒にその日の予定された活動を実施する/Carrying out the day’s planned activities with children.

4. 焚き木の提供に関する保護者の決定をフォローアップする/Follow-Up on parents resolution on firewood provision

●　当日の活動内容/Activities of the Day

9:00〜11:00：

Arrival of students, coordinators and teachers.

Solomon admitted new students and ticked the register.

Javan and Msafii conducted a warm-up session for all the children to prepare them for the activities ahead.

11:00〜11:30：

We had sweet porridge. Teresa Mbula, the cook, prepared it.

11:30〜13:30：

子どもたちと教員たちは、ポリッジを食べた後、練習セッションに戻った。主にフリースタイルダンスとラップバトルを行い、子どもたちはこれまでに習ったスキルを披露していた。その後、みんな、家に帰った。

The children and teachers went back to their practice sessions after taking the porridge. It mostly entailed freestyle dances and a rap-battle to showcase skills learnt over time. We left for our homes.

●　今後の望ましい対応/Recommendation

今回は子ども向け活動プログラムの第37回目で、活動はうまく行った。

This was the thirty-seventh day of the children’s activities program. It was a success.

A. 新しい生徒/New Kids

約束通り、無断欠席を繰り返していた生徒たちは次第にいなくなり、新しい生徒が加わった。一貫性が重要であることは、子どもたちにハッキリと伝えた。

As promised, absentee students were phased out and new ones admitted. We made it clear to the kids that consistency is key.
