Activities of the Day
9:00〜11:00:
Arrival of students, coordinators and teachers
Javan and Msafii conducted a warm-up session for all the children to prepare them for the activities ahead. Since the turn-up was relatively low, we had all kids participate in games, singing and story-telling without subdivision.
11:00〜11:30:
We had sweet porridge (uji). Teresa Mbula, the cook, prepared it.

11:30〜13:30:
The children and teachers went back to their practice sessions after taking the porridge. It mostly entailed freestyle dances and a rap-battle to showcase skills learnt over time.
We dismissed the students, cook and trainers early so that we can have a brainstorming meeting with the teachers.
Recommendation
This was the thirty-fifth day of the children’s activities program. It was a success.
Following this month’s resolution, we looked into the attendance list for from the past three months and scrubbed off names of learners with redundant absenteeism patterns and replaced them with new kids interested in the program. We had in mind maximum number of kids that the budget can accommodate.
So far, so good. Most of the students have mastered their craft, and they are doing exceptionally well. We tabled the idea of the most talented kids finding a way to make money out of what they do, to supplement their school fees and get exposure to the outside world. It could amount to something. We shall build on this idea further.
We bought paint for the classroom walls as directed by Madam Saori. Painting shall be done to improve the image of the school and improve wall longevity.
