For those who wish to apply for graduate school

Master's and Doctoral Programs

Applications for graduate school entrance exams are usually due in mid-May and mid-October. Be sure to check the schedule at the following website.

Acceptance of students from outside the school will follow the steps below. Please note that applicants from inside SFC should consult with me individually.

Contact Ichinose at least 3 months before applying.

When contacting Ichinose, send your research proposal (5 pages), CV (any format), and language scores (English and Japanese) as attachments.

The research proposal should be written in the following order: background, objectives, methods, expected results, academic originality, and references. Please include figures and tables.

After confirming the contents of the research plan by e-mail, an interview will be held (online interview is also acceptable).

After the interview, you will be notified whether or not you will be accepted.
