ただ、そのような要素は検討しています
Q. 幻水における「猫」の存在についてです。幻水と言えば猫!ですが、幻水IIIのコロクのようにプレイアブルになるとか猫のミニゲームがあるとか猫を育てられるとか、そのような猫を愛でるシステムはありますか? 今の段階では明確にお約束はできないです

「百英雄伝」は「幻想水滸伝」と「アライアンス・アライブ」を洗練させた作品です。見た目ということに関しては「オクトパストラベラー」に影響を受けています。(村山さん)
Q. 「百英雄伝」ではキャラクターはどのように成長していくのでしょうか。レベルが上がるにつれてステータスも上昇する形式でしょうか。あるいは、スキルを習得することで成長していく形式でしょうか。また、キャラクターに能力を「教え」たり、キャラクターのスキルを向上させていくことなどもできるのでしょうか。
基本的にはオーソドックスなレベルシステムになる予定です。ただ、所有する魔導レンズ固有のスキルがあるかもしれません。 Q. 小牟田さんにお尋ねしたいと思います。「百英雄伝」の戦闘システムが目指すところを教えていただけますか。例えば、ザコ戦は幻水のようなサクサク感が溢れたものになるのでしょうか。また、ボス戦はザコ戦とはどのような点で異なってきますか?より戦略性の高いバトルにするため、たとえば地形の概念を取り入れたりするのでしょうか?
「百英雄伝」のバトルはランダムエンカウントのザコ戦が基本です。その上で、ボス戦では戦略的要素が高いものになります。もしかしたら地形の概念も含まれるかもしれません。

Murayama-San a lot of people supporting this have been fans of a certain old school rpg you worked on ( not naming for legal reasons) . Since back then we were younger and now we are all older can we expect the story to be more “” dark” and adult? Or is it going to be more accessible for all ages?

My stories usually revolve around younger naive characters in the world that have very mature circumstances thrust upon then. As an adult gamer you will understand that harsh reality while knowing the young innocent characters swept up in these events is too immature to understand that harsh reality.

Nowa will be someone you control quite a bit. Allowing people to freely choose their main character will mean a lot more animations and be quite expensive. As far as a summoner character goes, it's still early but we will consider it.

Hello team! Thank you for doing this once again!
Several games I've played - Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts, Destiny, to name a few - have an in game encyclopedia or codex that updates as you visit new places, encounter new characters/villains, etc. Or, in Destiny's case, lore books can be collected to expand greatly upon the world, characters, and the overall history. If done right, it's pretty cool.
Is anything like that under consideration for Eiyuden? Thanks again!

Hello team, thank you for making this game and doing this AMA.
I've been wanting to know about "time-locked" missable characters. As in ones that if you don't recruit by a certain point in the game, you miss out on them forever. I recall this being a big issue for some of the earliest games in past titles you worked on, which required a complete starting over of the game to get all the characters and get the best ending. I'm all for hidden characters that are hard to recruit, but hope they can be recruited any time during end-game if they were missed!
What are your plans regarding this?

I second this. Clive in original Suikoden was quite a pain to recruit, and his story in II was highly missable. I found his story interesting but it's not worth chasing the time stamps/deadlines and rushing the main story in the process.

Hello! Thank you so much for everything you've done!
My question is related to character design - will we have the option to find new outfits for characters that change their on-screen appearance, similar to what you can do in the Tales games?
Also, the town in Suikoden II felt incredibly vibrant and alive because NPCs were also moving in to live there and not just soldiers and Stars. Will the Fortress Town in Eiyuden also feature NPCs building and living in homes and walking the streets as the town grows larger?

First of all, thank you so much for the Suikoden series and all the amazing JRPG series the teams have worked on. Nothing has come close to touching my heart like the Suikoden series.
First question: Are you going to include a bestiary section? Most modern RPGs do this nowadays and I would love to see it.

I like how in Alliance Alive, your HP is always automatically restored to max between battles (something it probably inherited from SaGa). Will Eiyuden Chronicle also have this?

When i played "Trails in the Sky" on PC, they added a "Fast Forward" button to increase the speed of battle animations.
Will you consider something like this? It really helped enjoying lots of random encounters more.

Murayama-san: Finding the right mix of game scenario and game systems blended together.
Kawano-san: Creating a wide variety of really interesting characters and of course everyone's smile.
Komuta-san: Working on a game system for true gamers that play console games. It's been awhile so I will have feel young at heart
Murakami-san: Showing my art mixed with the world of Murayama-san (this game is an important piece of his life and I'm a part of that)
