Texas Hold'em
In Action Terminology, the following actions are defined:
- Fold: To withdraw from the game, forfeiting the chips bet in that round. - Call: To match the current highest bet and continue playing. - Check: To continue playing without adding any additional chips to the pot. The difference between Check and Call is that Check does not require adding more chips. - Raise: To increase the current highest bet by adding more chips to the pot. The flow of the game is as follows:
- Deficit represents the moment of decision-making.
- Initially, each participant is dealt two cards, which they cannot see.
- After seeing their cards, players can choose to continue playing and place bets if they believe they can beat the other players, or they can choose to fold and withdraw from the game.
- Once all players have placed their bets, three cards are placed on the table.
- At this point, players must determine whether to bet or fold by considering the three cards on the table and the two cards in their hand.
- After the second round of decision-making, another card is placed on the table, making a total of four cards on the table and two cards in hand. Players must again decide whether to bet or fold based on these cards.
- After the third round of decision-making, a final card is placed on the table, making a total of five cards on the table and two cards in hand. Players must make their final decision to bet or fold based on these cards.
- In the end, the remaining players combine the cards on the table with the cards in their hand to form their Role.
